Deal for Manchester United target done, he's on plane, discount to £19.5m

Valencia's Super Deporte go with the headline 'Enzo arrives this Saturday in Spain' but then dash their readers hopes by explaining that's when his plane arrives in Madrid so he can transfer to another and make his way to Argentina for the holidays! Valencia fans are then lifted by another story saying the deal is more or less done.
Enzo Perez has a buyout clause at Benfica of €30m but Super Deporte reckon Valencia have got a discount on that to €25m - which works out to around £19.5m. Valencia had long been looking for that discount. The only things remaining before a deal is signed is to discuss how variables will work, which is an additional part of nearly every transfer these days.
There's is little pretending that personal terms between the Benfica player and Valencia weren't agreed some time ago, he's been on the verge of a move for quite some time.
It must be noted that this isn't the first time Valencia and Benfica have had a 'done deal' for Enzo Perez, previously they've then fallen out and toys have exited the pram. Manchester United had a scout watch Benfica on Thursday against Braga.
They've had scouts at quite a few Benfica matches so far this season and after their sales last summer it appears likely the target of attention has been Enzo Perez or Nicolas Gaitan. Should Manchester Untied want to scupper Valencia's deal for midfielder Perez then they need to be quick, super quick as Louis van Gaal may say.
The Daily Express said on Thursday that Manchester United were set for a £50m double swoop for both Gaitan and Perez but that appears way out of reality.
