Jeremy Menez is currently doing very well for AC Milan after demanding a PSG exit because he struggled to get into the team following huge investment at the French club. It's a good job for AC Milan that Menez arrived and is going well because Fernando Torres has been something of a disaster. The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker has struggled to either stay fit, get in the team or actually find the back of the net when he's in it. Whatever demons there were at Chelsea have certainly followed Torres to AC Milan.
It makes AC Milan more reliant on Menez and so far this season he's held up to that need and is one of the club's best players. Before he made the move to Serie A, Menez had been linked with several Premier League clubs. Liverpool and Arsenal were just two who were tentatively linked with making approaches to Menez when he was at PSG but nothing ever came of it.
It wasn't the first time Menez had been linked with a move to England. Le10 Sport say Menez has confirmed an approach from Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson when he was a younger player. The Frenchman refused that because he thought that at the time, he was just 16, he was too young "I was not ready."
