Goal readers have voted for their player of the year and await the final announcement of the winner of the prestigious individual award

The winner of the Goal Tanzania Player of the Year 2014 will be unveiled on Friday, January 9, 2015
After an intense voting process which saw a record number of readers participate in the selection of their favourite Tanzanian player, the winner will be announced in the first week of the New Year.

The five nominees that were presented to the public by the editors and writers of the website are: Mrisho Ngasa, Salum Abubakar, Jonas Mkude, Mbwana Samata and Thomas Ulimwengu Voting took place between December 1 and December 5, 2014.
