Man United may have extended their unbeaten streak with a draw against Stoke last time out, but boss Louis van Gaal will be particularly keen to improve another statistic, with his side boasting just two victories on the road all season.
The Red Devils will have the perfect opportunity to do just that, as they travel to Yeovil in the third round of the FA Cup, a competition that Van Gaal has set his sights on winning.
“I know what the FA Cup means to this club, our players and our fans. Its place in the history of Manchester United is well known,” the Dutchman said last month.
"So it is hard to believe that long-serving players such as Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Jonny Evans have never won this cup. It is a medal I know they are desperate to get their hands on.”
While Van Gaal may be tempted to field a weak team for the clash, it is expected that he will use it as an opportunity to play a number of first team starts returning from injury, with a couple of surprise selections rumoured to be included.
Below is how Man United could line-up:
Manchester United - Football tactics and formations

 Defence
With a raft of defenders returning from injury, it is believed that Van Gaal may take the opportunity to field a strong back-line. Although United should not be troubled by a goal-shy Yeovil side, it is all about getting minutes in the tank for their defence, with Rafael, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw all tipped to feature.
Midfield
This is perhaps where there will be a great deal of change. United’s midfield ranks have been ravaged with injury this season and Van Gaal will be keen to avoid that worsening. Expect him, therefore, to bolster the middle with squad players, including Darren Fletcher and Adnan Januzaj. Although Wayne Rooney may get something constituting a run-out, Ander Herrera should start the clash as he looks to get some much-needed game time.
Attack
This weekend marks the perfect opportunity to bring James Wilson back into the starting XI, and with Radamel Falcao looking to prove himself as match fit, it is being strongly suggested that Colombian will partner him in attack.
