Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria has given his full support to the new style of play boss Louis van Gaal has introduced.
Speaking to MUTV, the 26-year-old £59.7m club-record signing says the current squad is "beginning something new" under the Dutchman.
"There are some people saying we're not playing in a particularly good style or it's not the old Manchester United - but it's not," he said.
"We've got a new style."
He added: "We've got a new manager and we're all working hard to make sure we're putting Manchester United back where it belongs."
Argentine international Di Maria returned from injury to make a first start since November in the 1-0 defeat against Southampton on Sunday.
Van Gaal was appointed United's manager in May 2014, succeeding ex-United boss David Moyes, who was sacked by the club a month before.
