Out in the cold: Edinson Cavani was left out of Paris Saint-Germain's warm-weather training plans prompting talk of his departure from the club
Edinson Cavani, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, is edging closer to making the move to Arsenal after he was omitted from the Ligue 1 club's warm-weather training plans, according to the Express.
The Uruguayan has been linked with a move to the Emirates for some time and it is understood that Laurent Blanc, the PSG coach, is resigned to losing the 27-year-old.
Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, can expect to pay around £50 million if he is to secure the services of Cavani.
