Juve boss travels to England to complete Man United dream deal

Juventus' Beppe Marotta, Fabio Paratici and  Massimiliano Allegri have travelled to England. That's the Italian club's CEO, sporting director and manager. The publicised reason is for family holidays, coincidentally all at the same time and to the same place. Gazzetta dello Sport think they know better and that several deals will be getting looked into during the trip.
The sporting director, Paratici, attended the match between Manchester United and Tottenham at the weekend, report Gazzetta, and Juan Mata will have been a target. Juventus would love to do a deal with Manchester United for Mata, reckon the Italian newspaper, but right now they suspect that idea could be more rooted in a dreamworld than reality.
Mata is not having a bad time at Manchester United, despite many suggesting he would. He is not being ushered toward the Old Trafford exit. The Spaniard has had some good matches recently and even if he were for sale it's unlikely he'd fit the financial test which Juventus apply to most of their recruits. Mata's wages would almost certainly be out of the level Juventus want for new recruits.
Indeed, Gazzetta go on to say that Hatem Ben Arfa and Wesley Sneijder remain more realistic options for Juventus, with Xherdan Shaqiri also mentioned.
