Arsene Wenger is poised to make a bid for Sevilla star Carlos Bacca in an attempt to ease Arsenal’s striker problems before the transfer window closes.
Goal understands the Gunners have turned their attention to the Colombia international after ending their interest in striker Loic Remy.
The Sevilla striker has a €35 million [£27.6m] release clause in his contract but the Spanish club, who bought Bacca for €7m [£5.5m] last summer, would be willing to allow him to leave for around €16m [£12.5m].
