DALEY BLIND COULD BE ON HIS WAY TO MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United scouts in Holland watched Daley Blind in action for Ajax against PSV at the weekend and are confident a deal has been done to bring Blind to Old Trafford, according to Andy Mitten. Speaking about Blind, Mitten was keen to point out nothing has been confirmed from United with regards to any deal for Blind but reiterated that the general feeling from scouts in Holland was wholly positive with regards to Blind joining United. Blind, 24, who was part of Van Gaal’s Holland squad at the World Cup, is widely considered a player who could join United as he is adept both in defence and central midfield, so could add some versatile quality to United’s squad. “Word among the scouts was that United have done the deal,” Mitten said.
