Manchester United are confident of sealing the signing a double deal for Ajax star Daley Blind and AC Milan’s Nigel de Jong as their transfer plans finally come together.
The Red Devils have endured a frustrating few weeks in the window but have now signed Marcos Rojo and agreed terms to bring in Angel Di Maria.
And now ESPN reports that a deal for Dutch utility man Blind is finally set to go through with United confident it will happen quickly.
United aren’t stopping there either, with AC Milan’s Nigel de Jong reported to still be a target Louis van Gaal wants.
De Jong can leave Milan for a small fee and the Daily Mirror says United believe he will end up at Old Trafford before the close of the window.
Both transfers are expected to happen well before the close of the transfer window.
