Spanish acquisition: Herrera hasn't played for three weeks since the opening day
Ander Herrera has declared himself fit and ready to return for Manchester United.
Herrera, a £28.8million summer signing from Athletic Bilbao, has been out of action for three weeks with an ankle injury.
The midfielder has made just one appearance for United this season, in their opening day 2-1 home defeat to Swansea.
But the Spaniard, writing on his Instagram page, declared himself ready to make his return against QPR at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Herrera wrote: "Training hard and looking forward to this next game at Old Trafford!"
The return of Herrera would be a welcome boost to United boss Louis van Gaal, who was without 11 players going into the international break.
