1.Make match winning changes
Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world – and when it comes to his substitutions, his star only rises.
Able to see just where the match needs changing and just who should come on to do it, Mourinho can be the difference in the big games.
The Blues boss has a huge amount of talent on his bench and will look to use it to the best of his ability on Sunday.
2.Let Hazard shine
Eden Hazard might not be the best player in the world – yet – but he is one of the best in the league when he is on song.
The winger will be more vital than ever to Chelsea if neither Costa nor Remy make the game – and could turn out to be the match winner for the Blues once again.
3.Make sure those set plays pay off
Manchester United are not the best defensively but Chelsea have struggled in the past to break sides down when their forwards don’t fire – or in this case, play.
That means that set pieces could be vital and with the likes of John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic always a threat, Chelsea’s three points could come from one of their defenders.
4.Win the battle in the middle
Manchester United’s defence might be getting all the headlines, but their midfield is still a bit shaky.
Cesc Fabregas will be looking to rule the middle of the park with Matic and should Chelsea win that battle, it could well be the key to winning the game.
It would also stop the likes of Angel Di Maria getting into the game too much – and stop him from shining.
5.Stop the Manchester United attack from shining
They may be a mess at the back but up top, United are world class.
Allowing the likes of Falcao and RVP to see plenty of the ball – not to mention Di Maria, will be a recipe for disaster.
Oh, and old boy Juan Mata will probably want to stick the knife in to Mourinho as well.
Chelsea will need to be on top form defensively to stop that from happening.
