Sergio Ramos wins La Liga's Best Defender Award

Real Madrid's second captain was first in the voting. Keylor Navas succeeded as well after his brilliant 2013-2014 campaign.

Good news for Sergio Ramos. After his heroic goal against Atlético de Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Final, he won the the Spanish LFP Award for the Best Defender in the 2013-2014 season.

However, it wasn't the only award handed to a Real Madrid player. Keylor Navas won the Best Goalkeeper of the 2013-2014 season as well.

Luka Modric picked the Best Midfielder award himself too.

The Costa Rican is not featuring in many matches for his new club, but his form for Levante was so good that allowed him to beat Thibaut Courtois in the race for this award. Real Madrid fans will have a chance to see him in the Starting XI this Wednesday, when los blancos will face UE CornellĂ  in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie.
