Radamel Falcao given green light by Man United to step-up his recovery

Radamel Falcao has been given the ‘green light’ by Man United to step-up his recovery from his knee injury, according to Goal.

Falcao, 28, has not featured for the Red Devils since coming off the bench against West Brom back in October.

The report understands that the Colombian striker has been given permission by Man United to increase his workload this week after working on his rehabilitation.

Falcao is yet to truly impress for the Red Devils this season. The 28-year-old has scored just one goal in his five appearances and is yet to form a cohesive strike-partnership with Robin van Persie.

To compound matters for Falcao, Van Gaal has revealed his new Man United system could only have room for one striker, meaning the Colombia star could find himself on the sidelines at Man United.

However, there are reports that claim that Man United have already agreed terms with Falcao and have agreed a £43 million fee with Monaco to bring him permanently to Old Trafford.

Radamel Falcao has completed 84% of his passes this season.
