My, transfer rumours are appearing thick and fast this morning!
But then again when you are Manchester United, quite probably the most famous club in the world that is quite understandable!
Often we`ve lamented the lack of apparent interest in bringing in a world class defender, except with the exception of Mats Hummels who appears to be quite content to remain at Dortmund, today one news source is indicating that not only are we showing an interest in a player but we`ve actually opened talks.
The player in question is currently on the books of the French club Paris St Germain, he`s 20-years-of-age and is, so we believe, rated at a whopping £30 million.
As for the most important bit of information, namely his identity, he goes by the name of Marquinhos.
