Man United Have Hit More Long Balls Than Any Team in Europe's Top 5 Leagues
Manchester United fans were hoping the arrival of Louis van Gaal last summer would bring a more entertaining style of play than they enjoyed under DavidMoyes.
Whether they have that now or not is open to debate, but one thing that certainly has not gone away is the long ball.
The below stat, released by stats company Squawka, shows that United have played more long balls this season than any team in Europe's top five leagues (England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France).
It also shows that England still clearly remains the most direct of all the big leagues. French side Metz is the only non-Premier League team on the list.
