Palermo president says Dybala will sign new deal this week

Manchester United target Paulo Dybala is set to sign a new contract at Palermo in Italy according to club president Maurizio Zamparini.
Zamparini was the one earlier this month to break the news that United had been in touch regarding the striker who has shone this season in Serie A, already breaking the ten goal barrier before Christmas.
That has brought the Argentinian to the attention of the world's biggest clubs given his talent and the fact at 21 he has plenty of room for improvement.
Whilst it appears unlikely Dybala will leave in January, a new contract may just be a way of getting more money for the striker when he does leave given Zamparini hinted Dybala could leave in the summer.
"This week Dybala will sign a new three-year contract with us," Zamparini said on Rai radio.
"If he does well in the next six months then surely the next summer a big club will buy him.
"He can play, in order, in England, France, Germany and Spain. I say Spain last because the top teams Real Madrid and Barcelona are covered with good strikers.
"This renewal is also for his own good. He is destined to go to a great club. It's useless to talk about a price. With Zamparini, it is always expensive.
"I think Dybala is one of the best talents in the world. He is a team player, but he still has to grow for another four or five years."
Given the constant uncertainty surrounding Radamel Falcao's future at Old Trafford, it would be no surprise if Louis van Gaal was putting feelers out for genuine alternatives.
Falcao's loan spell will end in June and after scoring just three goals in his time at the club so far, the Colombian needs more than just good performances like against QPR on Saturday, he needs to start firing regularly.
