QPR captain is a doubt for Manchester United trip

Joey Barton struggling with a hamstring injury ahead of Red Devils clash

Touch and go: Joey Barton could miss the game at Old Trafford
Joey Barton is a doubt for QPR's trip to Manchester United on Sunday.
The midfielder is struggling with a hamstring injury according to boss Harry Redknapp who reckons he has ‘one or two others with knocks’ but refused to elaborate.
However, striker Eduardo Vargas is ready to make his debut for Rs after appearing for his country midweek in the USA.
Chile won 1-0 in Fort Lauderdale and Rs team-mate Mauricio Isla set up the goal in the 19th minute. Isla played the whole game at right-back and all reports suggest he had a great game.
Doubtful: Joey Barton (R) in action with Sunderland's Adam Johnson
Vargas came on as a sub in the 56th minute, and came through unscathed. New signing from Spurs, Sandro, is also inked in for a debut in Hoops.
But Redknapp reckoned his side have their work cut out to come back with a result from Old Trafford.
“We’ve got to be prepared to give them a game; got to compete and carry on from the win over Sunderland,” he said.
