QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists Manchester United will return to the Champions League next season.
The Red Devils failed to even qualify for the Europa League last term under David Moyes, who could only lead the club to a seventh-place finish.
New boss Louis van Gaal splashed in excess of £151.7m in the summer window to ensure a swift return to Europe’s elite domestic competition.
And Harry Redknapp, talking ahead of QPR’s clash with United on Sunday, is confident the 20-time Premier League champions will do so.
“They’ve built a strong team, they’ve bought lots of top players in the window,” Redknapp said.
“I’m sure we’ll see Man Utd challenging for Champions League places this year again.”
United are yet to record a win this season, despite being handed a relatively easy start against Swansea, Sunderland and newly-promoted Burnley
