Marcos Rojo has confirmed via Instagram that he has arrived home to Manchester following his international duty with Argentina.
Rojo, 24, has made an impressive start to his Man United career. The defender has already earned the trust of Dutch manager Louis van Gaal, proven by the fact Rojo has started every single Premier League game for the Red Devils since signing.
However, this week for his country, he was part of the Argentina matchday squad that thrashed Hong Kong 7-0, but the defender was however, an unused sub. The likes of Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Nicolas Gaitan were all on the score sheet for Argentina.
Rojo appears to be content at returning to England, with the player posting on his Instagram page: “I’m already happy at home.”
The 24-year-old is expected to be a key player at the back for Man United this season, as they look to regain their Champions League status.
Man United’s next game sees them travel to West Brom on Monday.
Marcos Rojo has completed 87% of his passes this season.
